The best possible views of Table Mountain and the coastline of Table Bay, South Africa. Our unique marine eco-tour takes place over nearly 2 hours where our Marine Biologist weaves a narrative as the animals do their thing in the natural environment. Whether booking for the family or to learn more about the marine ecosystem and conservation - your experience will be unforgettable. Our first trip of the day starts early as we know this is when the marine life is most active.
More than just an ocean safari
African Ocean Safaris offers guided marine eco-tours in Table Bay, showcasing the rich marine biodiversity against the backdrop of Table Mountain. Led by expert marine biologists, guests encounter dolphins, seals, penguins and more, all whilst learning about the ocean's role in climate regulation and conservation. Our tours aim to inspire a lasting connection to marine life and foster environmental awareness.

Tour Times
Tours leave at 8am, 10pm and 12 noon daily. Each tour lasts just under 2 hours. Guests are to please arrive at the Touter/Ticket sales box 15 minutes before departure.
What to wear
Regardless of the weather on the day, it can get chilly out on the water, so please wear something warm or bring something warm along as provision.

The meeting point for the tour is the African Ocean Safaris ticket sales kiosk, located on the quayside next to the African Trading post. On the opposite side of the swing bridge from the Clock Tower.
